Well, here are the fruits of my labors. It took me less then 24 hours to paint (not back-to-back of course), using Testor's acrylic paint.

The figure is a Knock-Off of Cybertron Sideways and it's a great mold. He started off as a bland gray-brown with minimal white and gold. After I bought him I realized he would be a great base for the main character of my fanfic, TF: Condemned. Here's a link to the first part: [link]

Eclipse is not a bot of words. When he speaks it's to the point. He is the leader of a oddball team of mercenaries and they follow his orders either for respect of his power or sheer gratitude. He is a former Decepticon who attempted to desert their ranks. Having been set up, he had his personality components removed. He mysteriously re-awakened in a new body which was rebuilt by a friend. Now he is superior in the skies, his skill and speed unmatched. He harbors millions of nanobots that course through his veins like bloodoil. The nanobots each act like mini-thrusters, in-taking the air around Eclipse rapidly and jettisoning it through the other side pressurized. This gives him the ability to hover and move so fast that he appears to teleport. In fact, space is moving AROUND his body, much like a spaceship would enter a wormhole. Put his regular jet thruster on top of that and he is virtually untouchable. Because of the nature of the nanobots within him, they are continually pulsating at different frequencies, making various parts of his body appear to glow an ever changing amount of haunting colors. Couple all this with his amazing reflexes, his sharp mind, and his excellence in swordplay, and you have one mighty neutral, albeit, he is a humble one.
